Cassie has her own two precious babies, born last Saturday, but she has adopted a latex squeaky toy sheep. It's the funniest thing: she walks around with it in her mouth. She even took it with her to the vet a few days ago. She just sat there in the room looking up at the dr. with this sheep in her mouth.

I took it out of their box to change the towels yesterday, and she did not relax until I put it back in.

I have heard of dogs doing that with a false pregnancy, or even during pregnancy, but when they have real pups?

I'm hoping it doesn't have some sad meaning, b/c it's so cute.
