I just got off the phone with Patti. The cat scan shows the same amount of bleeding and that has not improved. The neurosurgeon called in another neuro and they have decided to not do surgery yet. They told Patti he is too critical and surgery may add injury to injury. There can be other problems such as breathing, which he has had problems with before this happened, due to his Parkinsons. So many risks with surgery, but yet I wonder how he can handle that pressure without the surgery. He will have another cat scan Friday morning, unless they decide he needs another on Thursday. The new specialist told Patti that with this type of brain injury, Jack will have times when he is very angry and even physical. Patti told him that that is her husband and he is not like that and God won't let him be like that and that she can handle him and take care of him. She is holding strong to her faith and with all our prayers, I do believe he will be healed.

Patti has gotten some response from Jack today. She keeps talking to him and letting him know how much he is loved. Many things she asks him he doesn't get right, but there have been a few things that he does get right.

Patti and Jack's daughters have landed and will be to the hospital about 11:30 their time. Scott should get there about 11:00. Patti said she will call me once the kids are there. Patti sounded better tonight, but she has gotten no sleep since this happened. I told her once the kids are there, I hope she can relax, knowing Jack is not alone there, and get some sleep. We are hoping he will know the kids. Patti asked him today how many children he had and he said none. Poor Jack...and Patti and family.

She once again said to thank everyone for their prayers and concern. She hasn't been able to read the posts yet, but one day when she finds the time, she will be reading them. She is so very grateful to all of you!
