The babies were nursing a little while ago, and Cassie started licking again. I flipped the baby over to check for damage, and it was not oozing blood, but if she had kept going it would have bled. Yea, the vet said she had never seen it either, but Cassie is a crazy licker. She licks everything she can: towels, the floor, sofa (yuck), my comfortor (yuck, again!), etc. For some reason she didn't want the stitches or the glue there. LOL I have heard that the clamp and twist (that sounds awful) way of docking tails makes it easier for the tails to heal. Too bad it wasn't done that way. |
