Right now Esme stays in a child's play yard that I bought at Walmart during the day. This has worked great for us except Esme is now 3.5lbs (and still growing). When she came to live with us, she was 1lb and the play yard was plenty of room. Every morning we put her crate, a pee pad and some toys in the play yard. Lately when I come home, her toys are spread out on the pee pad, or she is laying or sitting on the pad. ICK! I don't think it's enough space anymore. I want to get her an excercise pen and there are two that I have been looking at on petedge.com. One is a plastic one, and one is mesh. I would like to have some opinions from those of you that have experiences with these or any other pens. Eventually, I hope Esme can have full reign of the house, but she isn't ready for that much responsibility yet.
