Be careful with the Vaseline. I once put it on Chase's paws and he managed to lick some off. It made him vomit a few minutes later. Petroleum jelly is a non-toxic substance that might give dogs upset tummies.

I was thinking of buying Musher's Secret, which is supposed to help moisturize and protect the paws. It's a little expensive, though.
