This is not meant to be rude, but you have no idea if the virus is still lurking in your home, on you, anywhere. It can be on your clothing, in your hair, the paint on your walls, in your car.....And that you still exposed yourself to it after knowing, was the dumbest thing you could have done. I really hope that Trixie, has strong enough immunity to ward it off. I am currently dealing with Parvo, and it is horrible. I have cleaned and cleaned and cleaned and still worry. Every night I wonder if I missed an area. I am even treating the road up and down our property. We live in the country and have thousands of fly's, they can carry it. It is shed for up to 6 weeks after the dog(s) recover. It can live under the top layer of dirt, and when that layer is disturbed it becomes exposed and contagious again. I know that you are seeing first hand what it has done to your neighbors dog(s), but until it's your own you have no idea. Please, if nothing else continue to clean, use bleach and do everything in your home, your cars, everything you can think of.
