I think there is a
huge difference. The cows are being bred as livestock for human consumption, be it as meat or a hide product. A dog is not! A dog is bred as a companion animal. Much different. God did give us dominion over all animals but we have made some our companions and others we use for sustenance. Just as one would not eat a dog (I HOPE!) neither should they shoot and skin one to make a belt to publicize their cruelty. After seeing some of the bizarre court cases, I take nothing for granted, but I am pretty sure a judge and jury will see a big difference as well.
