TAMPA - More than 60 Yorkshire Terrier puppies rescued earlier this week will be ready for new homes tomorrow.
The small dogs were taken from the home of 85-year old Dovie Carter in Seffner and a trailer in Tampa last week.
Investigators say both places were filthy, unsafe and infested with fleas.
A groomer, Miss Emily of Groomer to You, is donating services for the dogs. Some of them will be ready for adoption Thursday at 10 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis to Hillsborough County residents with approved adoption applications.

Hillsborough County Government Online - Animal Services . People can turn in the form for approval on Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.at Hillsborough County Animal Services, located at 440 N. Falkenburg Road.
Any dogs that are not adopted after 24 hours will be available for out-of-county residents to adopt.
Carter and four relatives could face animal cruelty charges.
