Please don't beat me up. I am just as horrified as the rest of you and hope these sub-humans get the punishment they deserve. And I couldn't agree more than I do with Jencar when she says "I am sick and tired of hearing of animal abuse stories and how the criminal gets their hands slapped for punishment." Something has to change.
The difference for me is that dogs are part of our families, as near to a child as can be. Although, I do understand if you're a vegetarian, how there may not be much of a difference.

I certainly hope this judge/jury does make a distinction.
