Wow! What a lot of ideas! Everything I originally thought of has been said. Here are a few more ideas:

Chaise bed like a psychiatrist's couch or lounge
Dog dish bed
Fish bed with the mouth open so the dog sleeps inside
Octopus bed
Pizza Bed
Corner bed that fits in a corner can have couch back on it or not
Draw string bag bed like a spa bag with the drawstring cinching up the sides of the bed
Suitcase bed
Laundry Basket bed - what dog doesn't like to sleep in freshly washed laundry?

I will think of some more later but better get these posted before anyone else thinks of these...
