Puddie will be 2 in August, Bella in October. It seems that he suddenly went from being a frisky pup to a monster teenager to a little man. Now he's a DOG, no longer a puppy

. He has responsibilities now, and he protects his people and his home.
My daughter and the other folks in the house keep strange hours. We sleep behind closed doors with a TV and a fan on (for the white noise) all night long. But if they've been out and come home, he goes on full alert barking his fool little head off, just to let us know that something has changed within his domain
I enjoyed their puppy time, but I don't miss the piddles, nor the chewed shoes and baseboards. He's still active and playful, but he likes to snuggle for more than 45 seconds now, too.
Each stage of their lives seems to be a joy. I so love my Yorkies.
