I'm a firm believer in glucosamine. You're doctor is correct in that the LP itself won't be affected by glucosamine, but the damage it causes can be helped greatly (inflamation, arthritis soreness, etc.). It does not hurt to give them glucosamine and it can have great benefits. I would start her on it now. I recommend Cosequin. Good luck! |
