Toby sometimes scoots his bum, which is ok, but the thing that concerns me is sometime he turns really quickly towards his back end as if something has hurt him, and then he puts his tail between his legs, hunches up and runs really quickly to his bed, or to be lifted up.

Would this be normal if his anal glands needed emptied?

I mentioned it to the vet and he just told me to worm him every 2 weeks until he was 16 weeks. He said it could also be constipation.

I have him at the groomers at the minute, and she done his glands, and said there was a bit in them, and got a bit out. His stools are pretty solid, nothing out of the ordinary. He does look like he strains a bit to go, but goes regularly.
