Ollie went to the vet yesterday and got some fluids and a few meds to take for the next week. We are also trying probiotics sprinkled on his food (which is only hamburg and rice for now). Unfortunately his previous owner was feeding him Eukanuba and that is all he would eat when I got him, but I am trying to switch him slowly to Wellness.
The vet is hoping that this is only an imbalance of a bacteria, or still stress from getting neutered. We are crossing our fingers that he does not have Inflammatory Bowel Disease. |
