Muffin wasn't raised around birds - other than the outside kind.
There was a pet store that we visited that had birds of all kinds and the screeching scared her to death. She was shaking so bad. I felt terribly sorry for her. I tried numerous times to take her there and show them to her so she wouldn't be scared of them to no avail. She couldn't take it.
I would do a test visit with that little doggie before bringing it permanently into the home. They are all different, but since it is 2 - 3 years of age, that little doggies personality is already formed and you wouldn't want it to live in daily fear. Just a thought...
