I tried to find some info but didn't find a ton, I did find that poisoning in dogs does cause alopecia.. but I was unable to find if it is something that can be changed or if it effects the hair permenently (did you vet let you know?)

Anyway, if Roxy is on a great diet already then a change in food probably won't help. Have you tried adding missing link to her food? Maybe flax seed oil or fish oil supplements.

As far as treating the hair from the outside, how short is it when it breaks off? I would think keeping her in a puppy cut would probably be best and using great moisturizing hair products, maybe even oil treatments.

I'm really glad that Roxy survived the poison, what was it that happened?
