Default Comments on Aggie's Tragedy

First of all Brooklyn and I send our prayers to you and Aggie's parents. We are broken hearted that a fellow Yorkie had to cross the rainbow in such a horrific manner. As my Brooklyn lays here "pup-napping" beside me, I look at him and can't imagine ANYTHING happening to him. He has become my son, my baby boy, my bestfriend. I can only imagine that Aggie's parents felt the same way about her.

We thank you for sharing the story. As gruesome as it is, it reminds all of us Yorkie mom's & dad's to be careful. Sometimes when you are walking around on a day to day basis with "one of the worlds GREATEST dogs" it causes you to have a false sense of security.

We must be cautious of our surroundings and be mindful of other breeds, where they live in conjunction to where we walk our "kids". (Not insinuating that Aggie's parents were not cautious...they did nothing wrong). We must also keep in mind (when dealing with humans in general) that just because they own dogs doesn't mean that they are caring people. Some of the most evil people HAVE or HAVE HAD DOGS!

One more thing...just because we know that our kids are adorable, sweet and cute doesn't mean that everyone feels the same way about our breed. I have met people who don't like dogs, I have met people that like dogs but not small breed dogs...and the list goes on.

I don't know why the owners of the PB were so insensitive to Aggie's parents but I do know that their actions show that they either don't particularly care for "small breed" dogs or they really don't care about dogs in general (including their own).

We pray that God will heal the hearts of everyone that mourns her loss. May Aggie's family be blessed to care for another precious Yorkie in the future.

Sincerely,
Brooklyn's Mommy & Mr. Brooklyn
