My family and I are looking to travel some where. They want to go back to London or to Costa Rica but I want to go some where I can bring my baby boy. Given those circumstances, I think it has to be in the US.

I'm thinking of a nice rental house on a beach or a lake or within walking distance of one, and it has to allow dogs. I want it to be quiet, calm, and a dog friendly city. A place with hiking trails and dog parks is a bonus too! Maybe Florida? We go to Portland a lot so probably not their either.
