You shouldn't introduce too many foods at once, that's correct. I guess my question was -- did you introduce the cott cheese/yogurt to him when he came to you...if yes, then that could be contributing to his diarrhea as some dogs don't do well on dairy. Whereas potatoes are just simple carbs, easily digested, and not likely to cause diarrhea, but may entice him to eat.
