I'm using K-9 Advantix on Walker after Frontline didn't seem to work well on ticks last year. Well,we still get them. A lot of them!!! I take an average of 10-12 ticks off of the poor guy every day after we walk. Granted, he's off leash and in the weeds for half the time. But isn't the idea to prevent/repel ticks with that stuff? And they aren't just crawling on him either. I just bought a flea and tick collar and that does nothing! Revolution I use to prevent heart worm is supposed to work on ticks as well. All this stuff is expensive and I can't keep switching around all the time. This is so frustrating to me and I don't know what else to try anymore. Everybody tells me, how bad ticks are this season. What's your experience and what works best for you? We live on a lake and Walker is always in the weeds or the swamp and just the biggest tick-magnet!
