One thing I would of asked the vet was if the medication came in liquid form . It is a chalenge to give a young en a pill! + being so tiny you have to be very careful that he does not choke.
Did the vet say anything about his diet? or ask what he is eating? I am wondering if a really good high protein canned food would help him put on some weight? He is not skinny is he? just very tiny? I remember seeing his pic. when he first came home and knew he was extremely small. Thank goodness he is doing so well, and pretty healthy, considering the little bug he has right now. That should be easily treatable, but the vet should of known if that is what it was for certain. Being so small , Bailey can't afford to get too sick, he does not have a lot of reserves to keep him going.
So glad that he has such a wonderful new mommy ! has he been dewormed?
