Well....two week later...it appears in the morning to her partner...just standing by the bed in the morning...breathing on her. Since that time...they have seen not only the dog...but some kind of humanlike figure...that just fades in and out at times. They said they've gotten used to it...and just live with it. If I didn't know these two no-nonsense cops personally...I'd say they were making it up. But I believe them...which is why we always meet in a restaurant to get together....chuckling...
