He needs to be in a small area. If his crate is too big he will pee/poop in it. Most dogs will not pee/poop where the sleep. If he is in a bigger crate try putting up a block so all he can do is turn around and sleep in it. Don't put food or water in his crate. These little guys can be very stubborn when it comes to house training. I use washable pee pads. For the most part they are very good about using them. However, sometimes they will have accidents.
I also agree with the other poster..although I did get mine WAY to young...8 weeks is to young to me away from Mom. You have to be on him all the time...Don't give up...be consistent...
