I just thought of something I do, and I tell my kids when they're trying to make a decision. Imagine, I mean really, really imagine, yourself in both situations. Close your eyes, and make a little movie in your mind.

You have found him a home or you have kept him.

Try to envision yourself in both situations, and see which one gives you more peace.
