After a lot of pattern-making, I finally made Meg a dress! I'm really excited about how it came out, and it fits her perfectly with a little room to grow. The dress is for the Fourth of July, so it's red, white, and blue.
My husband thinks it looks like a superhero cape, and I guess it sort of does. Ah well, it's a good first try (if I don't say so myself) and I can always make Meg's future homemade dresses a little more girly.
I also made Meg a little bed. I ended up not factoring in enough room for the filling in the sides so the bottom mattress portion is small, but Meg curls right up in it to go to sleep. And at least now I can fit it in my suitcase when I visit the US!
