Perhaps others will disagree with me, but I would absolutely NEVER feed Bil-Jac to my dog. It is full of controversial fillers, corn, beet pulp, uses by-products, low quality grains, and uses a chemical preservative believed to be carcinogenic.

Check out Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble for reviews of dog foods. Bil Jac is rated at 1 star (out of 6). I feed Meg a 5 star and 6 star food mixed together (Wellness Super5 Puppy and Taste of the Wild Prairie).

Congrats on your new puppy! I'm sure you'll find a food that is right for her. And you're 100% right about slowly introducing teh new food over a period of 2 weeks.
