Riot got neutered today, and we were given a cone to put on him when we can't supervise him for the next two weeks until his stitches come out. He's been doing fairly well with not licking but he started up so we put the cone on him to kind of get him used to it.

He HATED IT! He wouldn't move with it on. Even when we called him or squeaked his toys. He literally stood in the same spot for 15 minutes without moving until his head slowly drooped to the floor so his nose was in the carpet. Will he get used to it?? Will he know he can move with it on?

Also, does he need it overnight? I cant believe I forgot to ask the vet when I picked him up!
