I did take my dog out immediately when we got her to potty train. We don't really have a problem with fleas much here, so don't know about where you live. I have a completely enclosed yard, so other dogs have never been in it. Anyway, congratulations on your new puppyl You will love her! They are great pets! I should think the vet will remove the extra nails, etc when he spays her. At least I would want him to do that!
