It could be the food you're feeding. In lower quality foods like Purina, dogs will poo-out some of the food undigested - so their poo actually still smells like food to them, making it appetizing. You might try switching to a higher quality, mid-range protein food.
You could also try Solid Gold's S.E.P. (stop eating poop), which you sprinkle on their food. This worked for my Wylie back when I was feeding kibble, and he was eating poop.
