| I don't get this concept either. When I was growing up and someone's precious purebred "fifi" got "knocked-up" by another breed, this was not a happy situation. The pups were GIVEN away if allowed to go to term AT ALL.
I do not begrudge pound puppies at all, other than a Norwegian Elkhound and Collie that I had as a child, all of my dogs before Gracie and Boodah were SPCA mix-breeds. I just don't think that this is appropriate, ethical behavior to facilitate, encourage, or accept.
People are very foolish to indulge this behavior.......STOP PAYING FOR THIS AND THEY WILL STOP
