Ooh... Could it have been a reaction to the shot or something in the shot?
Maybe he was like totally stressed out or anxious? I noticed you said you took him to Petco for his rabies shot... Why didn't/don't you take him to the vet? It seems like that would be better. Maybe try that next time?
