Petsmart doesn't really offer a whole lot of the better brands, although Petco has begun selling some such as Wellness, etc. The only foods I'd recommend at Petsmart are Natural Balance or Blue Buffalo.
Usually to find the better brands out there, you have to find more of a Mom-and-Pop type shop near you. Pet Valu sells good foods near me. You can go to the websites of all the different dog foods of higher ends (Wellness, Merrick, Innova, etc) and type in your zip code to find the nearest store that sells their food near you.
Do your own research though and make your own decisions

Anything with by-products, soy or corn, I'd skip out on. Look for meat contents in the first ingredients.
