I'm not sure there is any secret to it other than to keep them on a good diet. I've read some claim the use of Solid Gold's Seameal helps in keeping their coats and skin nice but I've also read of it upsetting the belly of others. So any supplements good for the coat and skin that your dog takes to without issue might work. Much like people growing facial hair or hair in general... it might just be a hormonal thing and I am not sure what you can do to help it along. But on a healthy dog, it will all grow back in time!
