Great post! There are so many people out there trying to pull scams all the time. Just because someone says they do rescue does NOT mean they are an actual Rescue. Take for example what happened with Teagan. This woman took a puppy that was stepped on thinking that he would get better with a little tlc. She was not able to provided the necassary vet care and he went months without the proper treatment that almost cost him his life. His story now has a happy ending but what if she would not have turned him over to a LEGITIMATE rescue? Anyone can pick a dog up off the side of the road and say that I rehomed it which is not the same as being a legitimate rescue with a board of directors with bylaws and rules that have been implemented for the betterment of the pups life and the reputation of the organization.
