Good point. My Bella's stomach has always been made of cast iron.....nothing she has eaten has EVER upset her belly (I'm careful about what she gets....VERY careful....but changing foods, treats, snacks has never ever been a problem for her, even when I first brought her home). Now, my aunt's Yorkie had some stomach issues whenever she ate pretty much anything but her kibble!! So, it all depends on your baby--I say, go with your gut!
As far as gas goes, I think that must depend on your dog too....Bella hasn't had that problem either, and for awhile she was eating 2 egg whites per day (in her home cooked food, formulated by a vet nutritionist).
