I am behind you 100%! I have to deal with rowdy undersuspervised teens on a daily basis, and I will tell you they are BAD!!! They will do anything they think they can get away with just for a laugh and street cred with their "homies". (Not all teens, just the undersupervised ones, in my exp) The fact that blondie tried to ignore you and use her phone just shows you that she was lying. I've confronted some teens before and usually their first reaction is to apologize, whether it be sincere or not (mostly not).
I would have done the same as you. Don't feel bad. Plus points for the heads up to the cops already too. Better safe than sorry when it comes to our babies.
