Nancy, it is not my opinion about what the other clubs believe, it is what THEY have clearly stated numerous times. The BBCA and the Sue's club both have said the Biewer is a Yorkhire Terrier with a recessive pie bald gene. If I have an opinion, I state it as such.

First of all this is America, not Germany. What the Germans do is their business. I have seen first hand what they have done, and we are now trying to clean it up. Mrs. Biewer is not a member of any German club. She is also aware of what the German breeders have been doing.
All the clubs in Germany have differences of opinions also, so just who in Germany are you talking about Stacey. Why don't you give Gunter a call and see what his standard is? You may find out you don't know as much as you think you do.
