I know exactly what you mean, when we are doing most anythng and they can't be right on top of us "helping" - then they are trying to do their best to figure out a way to "GET THERE"
It's like they are thinking, "OMG! Mom does NOT know that I'm NOT there helping her! I've got to alert her immediately to the fact that she is doing SOMETHING WITHOUT ME. She must have lost her mind!!!"
