Thanks so much for the reply! I appreciate it. I ended up taking Gizmo to Bubbles Pet Spa in Torrance (they have a location in Manhattan Beach too) as a co-worker recommended it to me. They did a very good job with Giz. He's so cute!

I also found a vet place... Bay Cities Pet Hospital. I really like it there, but the only thing I don't like is that they don't take appointments so you never know which vet you're going to see on any given day.... although all of them appear to be good.
