Default giardia

Hello,
Don't panic!! Was your puppy flown? Stress induces something called giardia. I am a breeder who learned the hard way. Many vets will often over look giardia. It is very common for puppies to get it when they transfer to a new home. It is a parasite. All puppies have them, but they become active with stress... especially flying. The most common symptom is runny poo with slime and a little blood. It is simple to treat, just mention it to your vet so they don't automatically think Albon is the answer. When I first started buying puppies years ago, I would get puppies all the time who had this problem. I ended up going to three different vets before the last vet checked my puppy for giardia.. sure enough.. I have done a lot of research and when I ship or sell a new puppy, I always make sure the buyer is aware of what to look for.. It does sound like giardia is what your new puppy is suffering from. Please, let me know how it turns out.. Also, check your puppies gums and make sure they are nice and pink, not white.
