Yorkie tummies are small, and since your baby is only 4 pounds, I don't think he really needs to eat so much, esp if you feel DH is giving too much. Dogs aren't like people, they won't starve themselves on purpose. If he is hungry then he will eat, assuming everything is ok and he's not sick. What are you feeding now? You shouldn't switch around foods too much.

Somtimes Uni will gag or dry heave when she doesn't eat (nothing comes up). It's b/c she didn't eat her kibble thinking she's holding out for some people food, but we won't give her any most of the time. Once she realizes she's not getting any human food she will eat her kibble.
