I am still recommending that you leave that poor 5 week old puppy with its mother and siblings until it is 12 weeks old. It is cruel to take it away from its mother so young just so you can hand-feed it. You have two other threads about taking this puppy at 5 weeks old. You abandon the threads as soon as someone posts about not taking the puppy away from its mother so soon.

You also said " I wouldn't attempt this without alot of training and learning from a breeder of 25 years or more." So how could such training not include what to feed the puppy you are ripping away from its mother so young?

In most states it is against the law to buy a puppy that young. Illinois is still working on its Chloe Bill so people may be able to get away with this sort of thing for a while longer. But even in Illinois it is against the law to sell a puppy away from its mother before it is weaned. If the puppy was fully weaned it would not need a formula. So, you would be breaking the law! But much worse than legalities are the ethics involved. Please reconsider! This is abuse of a tiny animal no matter how much you think you are going to love it.
