Females should not be bred until their 2nd Season or 18 months of age.

If your male is AKC registered and if bred prior to 7 months of age, pups cannot be registered.

Bile Acids should be performed as soon as possible, usually at 10 weeks of age. Bile Acids results will tell you whether your dog has Liver Shunt, but will not tell you if your dog is a carrier.

Testing on eyes, ears, heart, etc. can be done at anytime.

X-rays on legs, hips, knees at approximately 6 months of age. But, 2 years of age is preferable as well as being OFA'd.
