I was at the vet today and picked up Max. It's really sad to realize that that vibrant silly little boy fits into this square black box. Hits hard knowing that I will never get any more kisses or be able to pet his silky soft hair. I miss him so terribly. Losing him really has knocked the wind out of my sails. Even though I have three other dogs here, it's not and probably will never be the same here.
