There are several International Biewer Clubs following Germanys standard. And it's not the BTCA standard. This standard calls for a tri colored head white/Tan black or white /tan blue
( no other head colorations)
Only one Club calls it a " Biewer Terrier" and follows it's own standard *BTCA*........even though they all have the same lines we have.
As for everyone following the same standard......... um we are, with the acception of the "Biewer Terrier Club ( btca) |
The biewer is nothing but a tri colored Yorkshire terrier period....... You say you only breed biewer to biewer that is fine but it dont make them a breed. Breeding Biewer to Biewer is still breeding 2 yorkshire terriers that have the tri color to produce the tri color. Yes by breeding Biewer to Biewer keeps it a color to its own but It does NOT make it a breed when in fact its still yorkshire terriers of a different color. You cant change, no matter how hard you preach........... that the Biewers came from 2 registered Traditional yorkshire terriers.
