That I don't know, we had her fixed after that happened b/c she wasn't a purebred and we didn't want puppies. The vet said it was "safe" to give her and wouldn't hurt her. But like someone else said, it needs to be given right after or it won't work. I'm sorry no one up there has it...good luck and I hope you don't have puppies.
