When we brought Bailey home - we could tell she wasn't accustom to grass either. She froze for a few minutes then began to "hop" around like a bunny. She quickly learned to like the grass and learned to run and play.
She will pee outside in all kinds of weather - except the wind. For that, we go down stairs where the west is blocked or our front where the north is blocked.
