no and my girls love it. I also mix it in the pups food when weaning. I give it to my girls until they are weaning the pups. It was given to me when I had my first litter by a long time show breeder that I have trusted for years. I have passed it around on here many times and the folks that have used it seem to like it better. i like it because it is much easier to make. LOL
