Yes its normal... ur baby is used to sleeping with u and now she cant understand why she has to sleep in a crate, i know its hard to ignore her when shes whining but if u want to keep this up, ull have to bite through this sour apple, u could try to put in a Tshirt that U have wore or slept in, that will have ur scent and might put her at ease, also try to wear her out before bedtime so she is really tired and put a soft stuffed animal with her that she can cuddle... i hope this has helped u a little
