Hmmm, I don't know what to think about what her vet said....."looking pretty big". I'd prefer a "they're too big...better do a c-section or they look a great size, should be no problems. The iffy stuff would make me more nervous. How much does Livi weigh? I'll keep my fingers crossed while I watch for the whelp and hope and pray for a safe, successful, natural whelp of Livi's 3 beautiful babies. |
I know...I am even more nervous now.
Livi's starting weight was a couple ounces shy of 5 and a half pounds and now she is 7lbs.
She hasn't been eating well lately so all weight gain is pure puppy. I was VERY surprised when he and his tech said how big they look because Livi isn't big and Huckleberry is only 4 and a half pounds. Huck comes from very tiny lines and Livi's parents are around her size. I just hope that she doesn't have any problems.
